“The Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute received the NRCT AWARD for its innovative prototype work to prevent and solve the problem of liver fluke and cholangiocarcinoma.”
On October 21, 2024, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Watcharin Loylom, Director of the Institute, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramet Klanrit, received the NRCT AWARD for research and innovation that meets the needs of the country from the work on “Prototype of innovation for prevention and solution of liver fluke and cholangiocarcinoma”, which is an outstanding research and innovation that has been applied to solve important national problems or urgent situations on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of NRCT. The award was received from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supachai Patumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and Dr. Wipharat Di-ong, Director of the National Research Office, at the Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat Conference Room, National Research Office.
