Higher education institutions in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Department of Livestock Development, Department of Fisheries and relevant agencies cooperate in conducting research on surveillance, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control and social-behavioral aspects to serve as guidelines for policy-making and managing the problems of liver fluke disease and bile duct cancer.
