On February 14, 2025, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wacharin Loylom, Director of the Institute, participated in the 1st meeting of the Regional Health Committee for the People, Region 7 (RHCP 7) for 2025. Mr. Suthinan Boonmee, Chairman of RHCP 7, presided over the meeting. Also in attendance were committee members, joint secretaries from the National Health Commission Office (NHCO), the National Health Security Office (NHSO), and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (THPF), as well as representatives from government agencies including the Disease Control and Prevention Office Region 7, Khon Kaen, and the Public Health Center Region 7, Khon Kaen. The meeting was held at the Kham Kaen Meeting Room, Charoen Thani Hotel, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wacharin Loylom presented guidelines for the prevention and treatment of bile duct cancer, and the meeting jointly considered these guidelines as a key issue in the development and implementation plan of the Regional Health Committee for the People, Region 7, by 2025.
