"The Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute held a network meeting aimed at expanding OV screening coverage."
On October 7, 2025, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wacharin Loylom, Director of the Institute, in collaboration with the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI), organized a networking meeting for NHSO innovation units to jointly implement the targeted plan "Thailand Free from Liver Fluke Disease, No Deaths from Cholangiocarcinoma" at the Rabkwan Meeting Room, Bayasita Hotel, Khon Kaen University.
The project was organized to disseminate knowledge, innovations, and discuss approaches to proactive liver fluke screening, aiming for comprehensive screening of at-risk populations in Health Service Regions 7, 8, 9, and 10. Participants included representatives from various sectors, such as the National Health Security Office (NHSO), provincial public health offices, NHSO network innovation units, and NHSO network pharmacies and clinics in Health Service Regions 7, 8, 9, and 10, with over 150 participants attending both on-site and online meetings.
