"The Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute collaborates with Maharaj Nakorn Ratchasima Hospital to develop a comprehensive system for the management, care, treatment, and follow-up of cholangiocarcinoma patients."
On October 17, 2025, the Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atthaphol Titapan, Head of the Cholangiocarcinoma Center of Excellence at Srinakarin Hospital and a member of the Institute's board, met with Maharaj Nakorn Ratchasima Hospital, led by Dr. Sailak Pimkhao, Deputy Director of Medical Affairs, along with a team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and staff. They discussed plans to support the care of cholangiocarcinoma patients, including expanding outpatient surgery services to reduce waiting times and improve treatment opportunities, thereby enhancing patients' quality of life. Furthermore, they agreed to collaborate on developing capabilities for systematic patient management and treatment follow-up to further improve service delivery.
